What is DMARC?

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) is an email protocol that instructs mail servers how to handle emails that fail SPF and DKIM authentication controls (security controls).

By having DMARC in place, you will be able to detect and prevent fraudulent emails that spoof your email address (also known as email spoofing). Follow the recommendations in our "Email Security" section to configure DMARC.

If your email domain is your own (i.e., you do not use free email services such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook, follow the recommendations in our "Email security" section to configure DMARC.

On the other hand, if you use a free email service (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) because you do not have your own email domain, the result of the DMARC scan will be affected and you will not be able to configure its security.

Please find here our tutorial to configure DMARC.
