Firefox errors after installing browsing protection

In Firefox, you need to load the browsing protection certificate because Firefox doesn't automatically retrieve it from the system.

However, both Edge and Chrome do this automatically. Therefore, the easiest option is to use Chrome or Edge.

To install the certificate in Firefox, you need to import the Netskope root CA certificate into the Firefox certificate store and clear the browser cache/SSL state.

Here are the steps to fix Netskope SSL errors in Firefox:

Import the Netskope certificate:

  • Obtain the Netskope root CA certificate.
  • Open Firefox, go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
  • Scroll down to Certificates and click View Certificates.
  • On the Authorities tab, click Import. Select the Netskope certificate and check "Trust this CA to identify websites."

Clear SSL status and cache:

  • Clear your browser history, cookies, and cache to remove old certificate information.
